Cathodic Protection Cable is a multi stranded tinned conductor insulated with high density polyethelene (HDPE) or cross linked polyethelene. These materials provide excellent abrasion, crush, chemical, oil and water resistance.
Cathodic Protection Cable can further be reinforced with galvanised steel wire braid (GSWB) or Kevlar to give further tensile strength for deep water applications. Cathodic protection cables are used in cathodic systems to protect against galvanic and electrolytic corrosion in underground or submerged metallic structures.
Suitable for all SubSea and fresh water applications.
Direct burial in a spectrum of temperature conditions.
Crush and abrasion resistant
UV protected sheaths
In cases where high levels of chlorine and other acids are present, an inner jacket of Kynar is extruded over the primary conductor.
