
HPS Electrical Penetrators pressure blocking is achived by using a hard and though non.conductive insert through which solid conductors are passed. Each individual insert is pre-tested to 150 bar before being wired and assembled into the penetrator housing. Peripheral sealing of the insert is effected by means of viton rubber O-ring seals. A polyetherurethane rubber casing is chemically bonded to both the penetrators metal housing and to the connecting cable. This moulding prevents water entry to the cable cores.

MIN. INSULATION RESISTANCE: . 100 Megaohm at 1 Kv + twice working woltage.
